On behalf of Millsaps College, our athletic training staff extends its warmest greetings. In preparation for your upcoming journey to campus, the following is a list of telephone numbers and emergency information that may be of some need to you.

The Millsaps College athletic training room is located on the first floor of the Hall Activities Center. Our training room is equipped with a variety of hot, cold, and electrical modalities. During your visit, please feel free to use our facilities. If your team will be traveling without a certified athletic trainer, a written prescription from a certified athletic trainer will be needed before we can administer therapeutic modalities besides heat and cold to your student-athletes. We also ask that if your team is traveling without a certified athletic trainer or athletic training student, please call at least one (1) day prior to your team’s arrival so that we can make the proper arrangements.

♦ A Millsaps College certified athletic trainer will be in attendance at all contests, as well as athletic training students to assist you if needed. Our team physicians will be on call for all contests, as will an ambulance for emergency transportation and/or advanced life support. Baptist Hospital is approximately five (5) minutes from campus should the need arise. 

♦ A ten (10) gallon cooler of water, cups, ice bags, and biohazard waste disposal supplies will be available to your team. Additional equipment such as: vacuum splints, knee immobilizer, and crutches will be available. We do not provide towels for the shower, please bring your own.
