Millsaps Women's Golf Falls to Rhodes in Dual Meet

MADISON – On Sunday afternoon at Lake Caroline Golf Club, the Millsaps College women's golf team faced off with Rhodes College in a dual meet where the Lynx fired a 348 (+60) to defeat the Majors who shot a 395 (+107).
Stephanie Mingos of Rhodes carded a 78 (+6) to take top honors on the day while Millsaps’
Mirel Brackin was not far behind posting an 83 (+11).
The next three finishers belonged to the Lynx as the top four golfers for each squad counted towards the final team score.
Natalie Boudreaux fired a 94 (+22), while
Willie Jones and
Molly Beth Jourdan rounded out the Millsaps scoring with rounds of 107 and 111, respectively.
The Majors will hit the links again from March 14-16 at the Coosa Country Club for the Berry Women’s Collegiate Invitational.
