Owen Still Swinging a Hot Bat for Streaking Edinburg

EDINBURG, Texas -- Former Millsaps College standout outfielder Hunter Owen has the Edinburg Roadrunners in second place for the first time this season after hitting his third home run of the year in a 3-1 win over Laredo on Saturday.
The Roadrunners are currently riding a season-long six-game winning streak thanks in large part to Owen who is now batting .317 (second on the team) in 26 games with three homers, two doubles, 13 runs scored and 15 more driven in. He's also drawn 17 walks and has a team-leading .441 on-base percentage.
Edinburg will look for its seventh straight win on Sunday against Laredo.
