Brackin Earns 19th Place Finish at Rhodes Classic

FINAL RESULTS
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - In the final tournament of the fall, senior golfer Mirel Brackin carded a two-day score of 176 at the annual Rhodes College Fall Classic, including an 87 on the opening day, to finish in a tie for 19th place among a field of 43 golfers and eight teams.
Brackin's round of 87 on Monday marked the second lowest round of her career, following up a career round of 79 a week ago at the Santa Rosa Beach Fall Finale. The Top 20 finish also marked the fourth of her career and second this season.
Birmingham-Southern took first place in the event, carding a two-day score of 655 to edge out East Central University (668) and Centre College (687). Host Rhodes College finished fifth with a combined score of 741.
